Supplier onboarding in under two hours.

Procurement teams verify new suppliers against register, role and signing authority. Trust level instead of gut feel, membership instead of Excel.

Compliance & hosting

Starting point

Supplier verification by phone and Excel takes days.

Before SigID, the procurement team needed 1–3 days per supplier — commercial register, LinkedIn, phone calls. Trust level: gut feel.

Manual register lookups

One register lookup per supplier. With multiple managing directors, the effort grows exponentially.

Role and signing authority unclear

Who is allowed to sign on the other side? Phone calls don't suffice — contracts get signed with questionable authority.

Duplicate supplier records

Without a membership record, duplicates and wrong IBAN assignments appear — disputes land on accounting.

How SigID helps

Four steps — membership instead of free text.

Supplier verifies themselves, procurement decides on documented trust levels.

  1. 1

    Invite supplier

SigID sends an onboarding link. Supplier verifies company, role and IBAN in the Trust App.

  2. 2

    Document trust level

SigID checks against the register, membership is created. Trust level (P0–P5) becomes visible.

  3. 3

    Four-eyes activation

Procurement and a second authorized person sign the supplier activation in the Trust App.

  4. 4

    Refer contracts to membership

Purchase orders reference the membership ID. Audit trail across the entire business relationship.

Procurement FAQ

Answers for procurement and vendor management.

  • How much effort is this for our suppliers?
Supplier installs the Trust App, scans a QR code, verifies company and role via passkey. On average 5–10 minutes — once per supplier.
  • What do trust levels P0–P5 mean?
P0 = self-declaration, P5 = fully verified identity including register check and four-eyes confirmation. Details in the Trust Center and OpenAPI docs.
  • Do we sync this with our supplier master?
Yes. SigID provides webhooks on membership changes. The membership ID lands as a reference in the ERP, IBAN updates propagate automatically.
  • What happens when a supplier drops out?
Membership is closed, an audit event is created. Open orders are flagged, the audit trail remains intact for re-audits.
